Over the past decade, Hermes has established a national network of 12 bookstores proudly bearing the publisher’s emblem in cities across Bulgaria, including Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Pazardzhik, Sliven, Veliko Tarnovo, and Haskovo.

Guided by the motto “Books for every family member,” Hermes bookstores offer a diverse array of literary genres, encompassing fiction, reference materials, popular science, educational resources, encyclopedias, literature for leisure, illustrated editions, children’s books, stationery, and educational games.

Hermes bookstores play a vibrant role in their communities, regularly hosting book premieres, author meet-and-greets, and various cultural events. Distinguished authors such as Jorge Bukai, Jose Rodriguez dos Santos, Alexandra Marinina, Georgi Mishev, Vladimir Zarev, President Petar Stoyanov, Solomon Passi, Ivinela Samuilova, Nedyalko Slavov, Emil Andreev, Alexander Sekulov, Ralitsa Gencheva, Radoslav Gizgindzhiev, Stanislav Koichev (known as Stan), and many others have graced Hermes bookstores with their literary presence.

In a special effort to foster a love for reading among young audiences, they organize children’s festivities complete with delightful surprises.
